KEF’s LUNCH at LAHORE (Awareness Raising Event)

On May 12, 2012 KEF had a successful event (Lunch) at Lahore to raise awareness about KEF and to pay tribute to its local donors/ sponsors. Air Marshal (Retd) Masood Akhtar, Chairman highlighted the KEF’s achievements so far and acknowledged the same due to the support of such wonderful donors like them. Later, KEF mementos were awarded to its supporters who ensured their life long assistance to KEF.

Special thanks to Mrs. Amina Ali, her family and KEF team who made it a successful event……..

Plantation Day was observed at PVPS, SVPS & BVPS.

In March, Plantation Day was held all schools of KEF. At SVPS, the Patern-in-Chief KEF-Sardar M. Habib Khan, Founder Chairman KEF – Maj. Gen. (R) M. Rahim Khan, the Chairman KEF – Air Marshal (Retd) Masood Akhtar, Divisional Forest Officer-Ch. Abid Hussain Gondal, Mr Asif Habib Khan-Trustee KEF, CEO KEF – Brig. (Retd) Amjad Javed and the students of Class VIII planted trees of different species in the school. There was an active participation by all the students. In March, Oath Taking Ceremonies were held at all schools of KEF.

On 9th, 12th and 13th March, Oath Taking Ceremonies were held at SVPS, BVPS and PVPS, respectively. All the students actively participated and took KEF Pledge (I—-hereby pledge to develop myself into a thinking person with competencies for the 21st century globalised world and uphold the core values of the integrity first, service before self, excellence in all I do—Ameen). Air Marshal (Retd) Masood Akhtar, Chairman KEF was the Chief Guest on all the events. He emphasized the importance/need to have clear Vision, Mission and Core Values. Parents of students, who took pledge also attended the functions. Ambassador Saleem Nawaz Gandapur also graced the event by his presence at SVPS. KEF’s fourth school-Cheema Trust Public School had its Foundation Laying Ceremony on February 28, 2012.

KEF’s Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) has been upgraded to College and is renamed as College of Teacher Education (CTE) w.e.f. 01 Jan, 2012.

We are confident that he will bring to KEF a leadership which is experienced, dynamic and able to promote KEF vision and objectives efficiently and effectively.

KEF extends thanks and gratitude to Maj Gen (Retd) M. Rahim Khan, the Founder Chairman, for his vision and guidance which enabled the Foundation to excel in its standards, in line with its mission, during his tenure. Gen Rahim would continue to be on the KEF’s Board and we expect to receive his guidance in the years to come.

The Annual Founders’ Day was held at PVPS&C on 15 November, 2011.

President Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Sardar Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Khan was the Chief guest. He lauded the students’ performances (skits & tableaus) for such wonderful extravaganza and commended the achievements of PVPS students in academics and other extracurricular activities. The donations of Rs. 30,000/- (as an appreciation for the students) and Rs. 3,000,000/- (for the infra structural development of the female hostel) were announced by the President AJ&K.

The ceremony ended with the distribution of Shields and Certificates to the students on their best performance in various fields. Teaching faculty, students and their parents of SVPS and BVPS also attended the function.

The Ground Breaking Ceremony of our fourth school ‘KEF-Cheema Trust Public School’ was held successfully on 05 January, 2012 at Sang Khurd, District Chakwal.
