Partnership Scheme

THE PARTNERSHIP SCHEME OF KASHMIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION (KEF) TO FUND PARTIALLY THE COST OF MODERN QUALITY EDUCATION THAT IS BEING IMPARTED TO THE POOR BUT GIFTED CHILDREN OF THE SOCIETY

  1.        Under this scheme, the members of Pakistani society belonging to middle and upper middle classes are being requested to participate by contributing Rs. 300 per person per month to KEF on a regular basis to enable it to continue its mission.  Those who can afford more are obviously welcome to do more.  Similarly a proportionate response is requested from country’s institutions conscious of their corporate social responsibility.  Considering the small monthly amount involved it will obviate a great deal of hassle and work if the contributions could be remitted to KEF on quarterly, half-yearly or annual basis.  The idea behind the scheme is that each supporter of KEF’s mission and his or her friends and in turn the latter’s friends and their friends will form a sort of human chain, each contributing Rs. 300 a month so that the small drops turn into a big stream.

2.          The mode of payment of individual contributions by KEF’s participants is indicated below.

Pakistan 
  • The participants may send their personal / banker cheque marked ‘A/c Payee’ favoring Kashmir Education Foundation to Chief Executive Officer, KEF at the address shown below.

 

  • They may give standing instructions to their banks to remit electronically or otherwise quarterly, half year or yearly the specified amount to Habib Metropolitan Bank Ltd., Bank Road, Saddar, Rawalpindi for credit to “Account No. 6-2-36-20311-714-344224 – Kashmir Education Foundation”.

 

  • Participants who want to contribute in cash are advised to contact KEF’s local coordinator or the office of the Chief Executive Officer at the address shown below who will guide them in the matter.

 
Azad Kashmir The participants may deposit their contributions in cash and by cheque in the following accounts of Kashmir Education   Foundation:

  •  Rawalakot: MCB Bank Ltd., Main Branch, “Account No. 0051736501001644 “
  •  Khaigala: Habib Bank Ltd., “Account No. 148671000356-01”
Overseas KEF’s supporters anywhere in U.K., USA, Europe and Canada can remit their contributions by sending crossed cheques to KEF’s Chapters indicated below:

  •  USA: KEF Inc. P. O. Box. 1894, Douglasville, Georgia, USA-30133. Cheques be issued in favor of “Kashmir Education Foundation, Inc”.
  •  U.K: 370-Thornton Road, Bradford, BD8 8LQ, UK. Cheques be issued in favor of “Kashmir Education Foundation-UK, Ltd”.
  •  Canada: 1325 Eglinton Avenue East, Suite 209, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 4L9. Cheques be issued in favor of “Kashmir Education Association, Inc”.

3.         All contributions to KEF are exempt from payment of income tax in Pakistan in terms of FBR’s letter No. CTI(C)/J.Br/App-128/2219 dated 30-11-2006.  In other words the supporters/partners will be getting a tax credit for their contributions.
