Inauguration ceremony of TIKA's donation project to KEF
TIKA and KEF organized an inauguration ceremony of donation project to Kashmir Education Foundation Schools on 13th November 2019 at Kashmir House Hall Islamabad. Mr. Masood Khan, President AJ&K and Mr. Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul Turkish, Ambassador graced the ceremony with their presence.
“Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) is a government department of Turkey. TIKA works with an approach which involves sharing Turkey’s development experiences with other countries. Since 2010 TIKA is engaged in Pakistan in development of services with respect to education, health, agriculture, vocational and technical training. TIKA carries out the task of being a cooperative mechanism for state institutions, organizations, universities, non-profit organizations and private sectors”.
In 2018 TIKA and Kashmir Education Foundation started their journey together. TIKA has agreed to collaborate with KEF in upgrading KEF’s schools. Phase I of collaboration has been completed in which TIKA has provided one LED TVs, one interactive board each, furnished IT lab, classes Prep to Seven furniture to PVPS and BVPS. We hope that this collaboration of KEF and TIKA will grow and continue in future.
